I bet I have written close to 1,000 church newsletter articles in Tullahoma, Nashville, Springfield, and Winchester Tennessee and Lexington Ky.  I have served in one Baptist and five Methodist churches with titles like Assistant to the Youth director, director of youth and recreation, children’s minister, youth pastor, associate pastor and now Lead pastor.  The judgers, crackpots, committees, and super-needy can wear a pastor out, but on the whole having a job helping other sinners find and follow Christ is deeply rewarding.  May we all strive to love God and our neighbors.     Oh, and that my teenage sons enjoy having their dad preach to them is pretty cool too!
