Mom’s Favorite Bible Passages: A Legacy from Mommy Lyn Bass

When Lyn Bas sent her three girls off to college she launched them with more than well wishes.  Lyn gave each child a list of her favorite Bible verses. The girls already knew these verses because Lyn sought to ground her life in the teachings of Jesus.  We parents often focus on education, music, sports and other extracurricular pursuits. Let’s remember to equip our children with more than a solid education and some nice hobbies. Let us give our children the legacy of faith, love, trust, optimism, courage, hope, and power found in Christ.
