I resolve to live into my baptism.

I resolve to remember my profession of faith.

I renounce the spiritual forces of wickedness.

I reject the evil powers of this world.

I repent of my sin!

I accept the freedom and power God gives to me.

I resolve to resist evil, injustice, and oppression.

I confess Jesus Christ as my Savior.

I put my whole trust in God’s grace.

I resolve to serve Christ as Lord.

With God’s grace, I will remain faithful to Christ’s holy Church.

I will serve God’s people of all ages, nations, and races.

I will welcome neighbors in Christian love.

I resolve to serve as one of Christ’s representatives in the world.

With God’s grace, I will live according to Christ’s example.

I will nurture others in the Christian faith and life.

I will increase faith, confirm hope, and sew love.

I resolve to build a community of love and forgiveness.

I will be loyal to Christ’s church.

I will do all in my power to strengthen its’ ministries.

I will pray, engage, give, serve and share.

Today, I renew my covenant with God and my church.

Lord, let me live as a true disciple of Jesus Christ,

so that you will be glorified. Amen
