We give you thanks for all the saints

Who worshiped you in spirit and truth

Who sang your praises

Whose hearts beat in harmony with you

We praise you for sharing their lives with us.

Oh, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord

We give you thanks for all the saints

Who lifted the cross and followed you

Who trusted in your grace

Who served the hungry, the stranger, and the sick

Who loved and encouraged your people

Whose words and actions shined holy light into our world

We remember them with grateful hearts.

Oh Holy Spirit, Our Comforter and Encourager

We give you thanks for all the saints

We pause, we weep, we laugh, we remember…

Ease us along the path of grief

Help us step through grief’s door into gratitude for your gift of life

Strengthen us as we lift each other’s burdens

Keep us striving towards Heaven,

Until we enter into your joyous band.
